Bio- Born in Lebanon, Rami Matar (May 1981) and Rayane Abou Rahal (July 1987) emerged as architects of resilience and creativity. Graduating with high distinction from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik-Lebanon in 2006 and 2011, respectively, their journey in the architectural realm began with a vision that transcended conventional norms.

In 2006, Rami’s diploma project addressing solutions for Beirut’s bombarded “Ouzai” district during the Lebanon war garnered attention, symbolizing his dedication even in the face of adversity. Meanwhile, in 2011, Rayane’s  2nd prize Rifat Chadirji -winning diploma project focused on finding social solutions for Beirut’s downtown.

Fuelled by a shared passion for transformative design, the duo founded “Plan R Studio” in 2011, situated in Beirut. Their architectural studio became a crucible for innovation, backed by a diligent team, cultivating a reputation for unparalleled quality and creativity across diverse projects, span-ning residential, commercial, medical, hospitality, sports, and leisure sectors.

Their international impact expanded with collaborations with renowned consultancy firms, particularly in KSA, enriching the cultural, heritage, and artistic fabric of targeted zones. Amidst dynamic shifts in the region, their expansion into challenging environments exemplifies not just adaptability but an eagerness to turn uncertainties into opportunities for growth. Their collaboration in KSA reflects a commitment to being integral contributors to the cultural and artistic enrichment of the regions they touch.
