This 30-Year-Old Digital Marketer Finally Scaled His Seven-Figure Business

In 2021, business is all about creating a personal brand. This is not overstated- if you want to make it big in your industry, field, or even in your workplace, personal branding is a must!

Are you thinking -“oh! I need a logo, or a catchphrase for my skills, or maybe a multi-step social strategy and that’s all?” NOT really. Personal branding is more about interacting with people. It’s more about what you bring to the table every day.

It might sound like a vague concept that’s good to read. But, some people made it their reality. For example, today we will be talking about a small-town millennial who scaled a seven-figure online business in just eighteen months.

The Inspiring Story Of Ryan White

In a world where everyone is fighting for attention, the founder of Social Revelation made his voice heard. Born in 1990, Ryan hails from Lakeland, Georgia. He belongs to a very humble yet educational home as both his parents worked for the state school. His family was always secure but never really wealthy.  As Ryan recalled his earlier days in an interview-

“My life was always centered around baseball throughout my collegiate career. I was a private baseball coach and instructor for one of the top five travel baseball organizations in Warner Robins. After working there from 2013 to 2017, I launched Social Revelation Marketing – my digital marketing and social media agency. I started it as a side hustle to make some extra money.”

Soon Ryan’s side hustle started to produce a similar income to his primary job as a baseball coach.  Since the beginning of 2018, it was pretty clear where he should focus his time and energy. Yeah, another story of quitting a full-time job to make it big in a side gig!

Ryan’s Journey To Becoming A Seven-Figure Online Entrepreneur

While being on a hunt to unleash his full potential, Ryan closed down his gigs and sold his pages for a few USD. He took six months break to brainstorm and developed a social media marketing concept. He got back on social media to transform influencer marketing and focused on his personal Instagram account to test out his strategies. It was a boom and his followers started to grow every month like never before. He didn’t have to look back since then.

But, What About The Start-Up Challenges? Didn’t He Face Any?

When asked about it in an interview, Ryan shared –

“I would like to believe my journey has been smoother than other’s stories I hear about. But I had my fair share of obstacles.”

The biggest challenge of a full-time worker turned start-up owner is maintaining the work-life balance. From learning to deal with human resource issues to be the jack of all trades, it has been a lot for Ryan too!

But, There Was An Unmatched Vision That Didn’t Let Him Quit!

He still feels grateful for going full-time into his start-up in 2018. Ryan quit his job after landing a few clients and receiving great feedback on how their online sales had doubled due to Ryan’s strategies. He had no employees back then and he used to work from his guest bedroom. Eighteen months after the beginning, his revenue crossed the seven figures. Now his digital marketing agency manages over 500 clients globally.
