Bridal Dress Blunders! Randy Fenoli Takes A Dig

Mistakes A Bride Can’t Make While Choosing Her Wedding Couture

Bridal Dress Blunders! Randy Fenoli Takes A Dig

A BRIDAL dress is a whole different mood! Every bride has some sort of vision of walking on the aisle as the most gorgeous version of themselves. The emotions revolving around a wedding dress are never going to become cliché. Like every other niche of fashion,  the bridal dress styles are always evolving.

Very few people can beat Randy Fenoli, the fashion director, and designer at Kleinfeld Bridal when it comes to wedding dress ideas. The ‘Say Yes To Dress’ star has helped countless brides to find their dream bridal dress.

But even when you are getting the expert’s advice, finding the perfect gown with ease is not as easy as it sounds. During his interview with Business Insider, Fenoli told there are two common mistakes most brides make. He further added that’s how they wreck their bridal appointments.

Two Major Mistakes A Bride Often Makes

Leading the world’s premier bridal salon takes a lot! A LOT! Fenoli ‘s passion for design and fashion led him to lead Kleinfeld Bridal with perfection. The Say Yes To The Dress start has described his show as “part bridal story, part fashion show, and part family therapy.”

So, when the opinions are coming from such an experienced fashion guru, let’s hear it now.

#Mistake One: Brides Without A Budget!

Every bride needs to set a price for their dream bridal couture! It might be tough but let’s be practical. Fenoli says – ” If  you can’t say how much you want to spend, a consultant might show you something that’s out of your budget.”

It’s interesting how Fenoli became completely candid while talking to Insider. He told, “As soon as a bride says she doesn’t have a budget, I am like here’s a $30,000 dress.”

He further said that recently he worked with a bride with no budget, so Fenoli had her try on a $7000 bridal dress! “She put the gown on and she loved it, but then she was like, ‘Oh, it’s over my budget,'”– Fenoli revealed.

Fenoli, or most consultants, would never embarrass someone by showing an unaffordable dress. But, if a bride can’t set an actual budget, a fashion expert can’t guess how much she wants to pay. They might pick up one of the most premium collections that come with a huge price. All a consultant ever wants is to show the client the best option.

#Mistake Two: Bringing The Wrong Person To The Bridal Couture Appointment

Even the world-famous wedding fashion consultant has his BAD days at work! Fenoli once walked out of a “Say Yes To The Dress” appointment because he got annoyed by a mother mocking her daughter, the bride-to-be!

“There was this mother who was just bullying her daughter and laughing at her.” Fenoli walked out of the hall because he couldn’t stand the humiliation of Samantha, the bride. She was having trouble choosing a gown even after visiting 80 stores. When she finally picked up a sheer gown she loved, her mother told that she looked ugly in it. When she mocked the gown and they started arguing, Fenoli left the appointment. Finally, Samantha also left without finding a gown for her wedding.

“I  want to help my brides choose something they love. When they feel beautiful, they will wear the dress like there are no other gowns on earth.” Randy Fenoli prefers his brides to be clear about their budget and the people they bring with them.
