- What first inspired you to pursue a career in life coaching and mental health, especially supporting high-performing individuals and executives?
My choice to become a psychotherapist was deeply personal. While working as a lawyer on Wall Street, I experienced firsthand how the immense pressure, long hours, and emotional toll resulted in burnout, anxiety, and strained personal relationships. I had always been passionate about psychology and mental health, and I felt uniquely called to directly support others who had been through the same challenges and struggles I experienced. I am inspired by my clients and the work we do together to ensure their mental well-being and career success.
- How do you blend your life coaching skills with your research and years of professional experience to deliver impactful and lasting results for your clients?
My years of experience in the corporate world and my expertise in therapy and coaching uniquely position me to serve leaders as a strategic thought-partner, trusted advisor, sounding board, and confidante. Every client has different goals and challenges. I blend my coaching skills and professional experience to bring new ideas, a fresh perspective, and an unbiased and objective evaluation to help executives address acute/crisis problems as well as long-term, chronic challenges they’ve struggled with for years.
- What are some of the biggest mental or emotional challenges your clients face, and how do you help them overcome these obstacles?
Self-doubt and impostor syndrome are very common among high achievers. I help leaders acknowledge and normalize self-doubt, reframe negative thoughts, challenge negative self-talk, and develop a strong support system. Overwhelm and burnout are increasingly a concern. Many professionals push themselves to the limit to achieve company objectives. Creativity can be an excellent cathartic outlet, alleviating burnout. I support leaders so they can successfully set boundaries, manage stress, and implement strategies to avoid burnout in their teams.
- In your experience, what are the common struggles executives face when it comes to mental health, and how do you help them maintain balance?
First and foremost, there is the pressure to perform. In the fast-paced world of executives, it can feel like every day requires their very best. Thinking strategically about long-term objectives and creating a tactical plan to get there helps alleviate that daily pressure while keeping leaders on track. Emotional isolation can be challenging, and that is where working with a coach or therapist can really help executives feel less alone. Lack of work-life balance can truly undermine a leader’s mental health when the demands of their work leave little time for personal well-being. Establishing boundaries to protect their personal lives can mean healthier, more fulfilled employees who excel in their roles as a result.
- Relationship dynamics are a key part of your practice. What do you think is essential to building and sustaining healthy, fulfilling relationships?
Understanding the power of relationship dynamics is essential to effective communication, emotional safety, and mutual growth. This requires mutual effort, time, care, and attention to thrive. Strong relationships result in deeper emotional connections, positively engaged team members, and create a foundation of trust that fosters collaboration, resilience, and long-term success in both personal and professional settings.
