Josh aims to destigmatize healthcare environments by challenging healthcare systems to heal beyond just the patient, showcasing the power of design within healthcare’s complex and challenging programmatic needs.
Josh’s portfolio spans the country, encompassing cancer centers, children’s hospitals, and critical access hospitals. Regardless of project type or size, Josh always pushes for a focus on social determinants, well-care, and clinical efficiency.
Josh has always believed in students’ power to shape the future and change the status quo of fundamental legacy institutions. This is echoed in his involvement and mentorship with NOMAS groups around the country, K-12 community outreach groups, and the J.E.D.I. initiatives.
Juan Carlos Baumgartner
Juan Carlos is a Mexican architect who founded the international design firm SPACE, a firm with offices in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. With projects in 20 countries around the world, Juan Carlos has a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience applied to design from the Venice Institute of Architecture and Urbanism. The architect Baumgartner is one of the most internationally recognized pioneers and specialists in the field of neuroarchitecture. Additionally, he is an internationally known speaker with 2 ted talks and a guest professor at universities in Europe and the united states.
Juan Carlos is currently finishing his first book “Office as a Tribe” a vision on the humanization of public space and in particular on the workplace. a document that will undoubtedly be a reference for the design of the office of the future
Mauricio Salvi & Ana Soares
Mauricio Salvi and Ana Paula Soares are the architects responsible for Uffizi Arquitetura, a Brazilian office with a branch office in Portugal. The Uffizi has been gaining ground due to the creativity with which its projects deal with spatial relationships and nature, building a landscape that combines constructive technology and materiality to create an architecture for well-being.

Malika Junaid
Malika Junaid is the founder and principal of Silicon Valley award-winning architectural firm, M●Designs Architects. She has won several architectural awards for her work that including awards from the prestigious META Remodeling Awards from NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry), as well as an Environmental Quality Award from the City of Menlo Park, California, for the most sustainable single-family home in the city. Malika’s design work has been featured in many local and international TV and print media. Her clients include executives from Apple, Box, Facebook, Google, and Whatsapp, among others. In 2009, Malika founded Green Learning Institute in California, which helped communities establish environmentally sustainable building practices through ongoing training and education.
In 2010, Malika co-founded Pakistan Green Building Council, a nonprofit organization committed to promoting sustainable concepts and practices. In addition to her professional work, Malika is a Board Member and Charter Member of the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America (OPEN), member of Women Entrepreneur (WE) Los Altos, and member of Business Network International (BNI). She is passionately involved in promoting entrepreneurship and business leadership in the local community. Malika is also devoted to supporting many charities focused on educating the younger generations. She is currently a board member and President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of Development in Literacy (DIL).

Yaira Singer
Born and raised in New York, Yaira knows apartment living means making the most of every inch, and making every inch beautiful. As an architect and product designer, she applies her expertise to projects that range from customized furniture installations to large-scale interior renovations, and everything in between. She approaches each project with individualized attention, customizing not only the design itself but also the design process to suit the needs of the client. Yaira won George Mason University’s International Architecture POV Competition for her design of an Institute for Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution, meant to promote tolerance and peace. Fernando Papale is a NY-based licensed architect from Buenos Aires Argentina. He leads the firm (bp architects) with over 30 years of experience in high-end residential, institutional, office, retail & commercial design. prior to starting the practice, he was an associate professor at the University of Buenos Aires and his work was featured in the 1991 biennale Architettura in Venice.
