Top 20 Female Entrepreneurs To Look Out For In 2023

Female entrepreneurs are making waves in the business world, and their impact and influence is growing every day. In this blog post, we’ll be looking at some of the top female entrepreneurs to watch out for in 2023. These women are trailblazers, innovators, and visionaries who are changing the way we view business. They are leading the charge and inspiring the next generation of female entrepreneurs. From tech startups to fashion labels, these women are redefining the traditional rules of business and setting the stage for the future of female entrepreneurship.

Yeukai Tshwanelo  

Pastor Yeukai Tshwanelo is not only a priest, entrepreneur, and physician, but also an investor in financial markets. She has over ten years of experience working in Senior Hospital Management and has been employed with The Avenue Private Hospital in Melbourne and Western Private Hospital in Melbourne. Besides these ventures, she has managed to run several more to ensure that her community flourishes. As of 2022, PPs. The goal of Yeukai Tshwanelo has been to promote personal development in our community by initiating projects such as sustainable fashion for young entrepreneurs, healthcare for those with disabilities, and an initiative to help those recovering from addiction (Grace Haven).

Zuly Matallana

Zuly’s approach to business is a unique one: she’s a firm believer that actions conquer fear. Creating a business is scary, and disrupting the status quo is even scarier, but Zuly’s conquered every moment of doubt and fear by putting her ideas into action, and pushing forward on her mission to change the lives of women, and change the world.

Zuly’s drive to transform the way women care for their hair, while reducing single-use plastics, led to the creation of TIARA shower caps. Her sustainable design was noticed by Tory Johnson and her team, leading to a feature on Good Morning America, and a subsequent winning pitch on the Canadian hit series Dragons’ Den. After losing an aunt to breast cancer, Zuly’s mission shifted to eliminating harmful ingredients in products that women rely on each day. She is about to launch a line of consciously made natural deodorants, that offer a functional alternative for women around the world. 

Zuly has been recognized internationally for her innovation and achievements. In life and in business, Zuly wholeheartedly believes in the power of intent, for overcoming obstacles, and achieving positive change in the world.

Brigitte Bartley Sawyer

A mother to three boys, ages 21, 20 and 17 and two stepdaughters, ages 21 and 17, with a focus on mindset and holistic health, Brigitte has built multiple businesses and continually thinking outside the box. She channeled her passion of Health into Network Marketing in 2011 with a current organization of 112,000+ associates. Brigitte’s love for writing led her to having an Amazon Best Seller, “The Energy of Happiness” in 2015 as well as a book release in early 2023 with Sacred Stories Publishing, both as a contributing author.  Her creative twist to marketing led to social media marketing with clients all over the U.S. as well as becoming a licensed REALTOR® with Blackstream Christie’s Int’l Real Estate in Greenville, SC.

Brigitte also assumes the role Chief People Officer and co-owner of Sawyer Business Group, a holding company for 53 SportClips locations in six states, 2 Urban Air Adventure Parks, 2 Snapology locations teaching robotics and engineering principles for children ages 1-14 as well as commercial and residential real estate. As a multi-passionate entrepreneur, her plethora of knowledge and experience and approach to transform challenges and adversities, inspires both men and women in their personal growth and leadership.

Helen Domina

With over 10 years of industry experience Helen helps businesses increase conversions and sales by remarkable web design. She also has supported 7+ startups in their product market launch (mobile and web apps, SaaS). She is the founder of her full cycle product and web design agency THEPRIZM. “Great digital products are created when business goals and user needs are equally thought of” – says Helen about the success formula that her team applies to every project

Helen runs a 30k+ instagram blog where she shares her path and educational content for design peers. As a Ukrainian refugee and young mother she had to face bigger challenges in 2022. Helen is empowering female entrepreneurs to stay strong and believe in themselves even in the darkest times.

Shayantani Sarkar 

She started her Wedding Photography business as Shay Photography to capture the story of love and romance artistically.  She is often referred with her business name “Shay”. Her love for art is fueled by her imagination and passion. 

Shay has infused her art of story telling with posing and directing her clients to ensure that they love each frame when they hold it in their hands. Shay has a fascination for neutral palette to ensure each story speaks for itself, rather than the story getting disoriented in bold and bright colors. Her simplistic perspective makes photos unique and appealing.Her work has been published in Vogue, Martha Stewart, Style me pretty and Wedding Sparrow.

As a business owner, Shay has an approach of in-depth planning and analysis of the predictable future wedding season and  she adapts according to the market needs.  Her approach to the business growth is both organic and strategic. Shay is driven by innovative thinking, involvement and engaging with her clients directly to have clarity about the future growth strategies.

Parmida Kate Zand

Parmida K. Zand started her carrier at the age of 21 in the financial field when she starts realizing how much she enjoy helping people who don’t have knowledge in Credit Repair. Parmida is the founder of Unlimited Credit Repair in 2019 with the intention of bringing a new method to the Credit repair industry to help people with their financial needs.

The unlimited Credit Repair team helped thousands of people all over the United States during the pandemic to avoid all financial crises. She established the First Woman-owned business with all woman staff in Credit repair. Unlimited credit repair won the best customer service award in 2022 in Simi Valley, Los Angeles.

Maria Rao

Maria is a lash artist, educator,  and founder of Roselash.Co, an eyelash extension training academy which started in a small room and has since become one of the leading educational platforms for lash technicians and young entrepreneurs worldwide. A 25-year-old visionary, Maria extends her entrepreneurial endeavours to help every woman feel confident, beautiful and prepared for industry standards. After dropping out of a Business Technology Undergraduate program at university in 2019, she navigated her dreams to the beauty industry by enrolling in a lash course which changed her life forever and soon founded Roselash.Co, with the support of her team and an overwhelming community of women around the globe. 

From there on her journey seemed unstoppable. She is taking the beauty indsutry by storm and is helping people around the world begin new careers and improves existing eyelash extension businesses achieve their dreams. She went from making zero to six figures by opening up her academy, which has graduated hundreds of successful students. Continuing the success of her business, she recently announced her big plans for 2023 – opening up her very first storefront alongside current online courses that will teach young women in the beauty industry how to be financially independent through online courses and business coaching. The course will highlight the best of her learnt techniques, industry knowledge and creating a successful business.  She applies her years of experience to coach her students towards personal empowerment and thriving careers. 

Heidi Chiovitti

Ivy Chase is a beauty brand you might recognize! This is a company founded by Heidi Chiovitti due to a lack of high-quality, affordable and customizable products available in the Canadian marketplace. In its first year, Ivy Chase focused on customizable beaded bracelets, and in 2020, Heidi met with manufacturers to produce more personal products. In addition to bracelets, customers can customize other products, like backpacks, makeup bags, hats, and more. Thanks to social media, taking a regular old item and transforming it with patches is easier than ever, and we’ve been seeing a ton of really fun products with brightly coloured and detailed patches lately. And guess who’s at the forefront? None other than Heidi’s business, Ivy Chase. Her products are even featured in Sephora, as well as all over Instagram influencer accounts.

Cristina Castagnini

Dr. Cristina Castagnini, Ph.D., CEDS, is a licensed psychologist and certified eating disorder specialist with over 25 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

She graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Cristina has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy) from Pepperdine University and earned her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Southern California.

She worked at Kaiser Permanente hospital for over 15 years. After being the lead eating disorder specialist in the adult psychiatry department, she left to pursue her lifelong dream of opening her private practice full-time. Her work emphasizes an integrative approach with her clients that embrace the entire person while focusing on the client’s core issues. She remains devoted to helping others overcome their struggles with eating disorders through her private practice and also helps spread awareness in her weekly podcast, “Behind the Bite.

Mayuri Mukka

With a 40-year career, Marisa is a seasoned professional in the non-invasive cosmetics space. Known for her ethical approach, she worked with gifted plastic surgeons early in her career. She thought then what she knows today – that less invasive treatments can provide beautiful and natural results. Since opening her own practice 8 years ago, she has not only become a successful businesswoman but also a thought leader.

Marisa is an Allergan trainer, credentialed as a Master Level Injector, and she occupies Top 250 Status, placing her among the top .05% of injectors in the nation. She has been honored 4 times by her peers with the 100 Best Injectors award. Samantha Wong-Sang

Samantha is a serial entrepreneur, branding enthusiast, inventor and well-respected business developer and visionary of the community. The group includes Blu on the Water Restaurant, Blu Cay Luxury Villas, Simply Blu Naturals gourmet line of food products and Blu Waters Property Management. Taylor Hengesbach

ETTE is a multidisciplinary, shamanic artist; whose abilities are believed to be reincarnated from her beloved grandmother. She was awarded Young Hispanic Entrepreneur Of The Year by The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in November 2022

Starting at a young age with her passion Rocio designed dresses for all her friends quinceañeras parties. Now she has several pieces of her own creation at Lanallama.
