And what they loved was working out in activewear that excited them.

But the activewear they purchased kept missing the mark. The clothes were either “all trend” and “no function”, or “all-function” and “no trend”. So instead of waiting for their dream activewear brand to appear, they created it themselves. Caroline and Lizzy built the brand with the purpose of empowering young girls to lead with confidence, grace, and strength. We are proud to donate a portion of our sales to nonprofits that support girls’ education and development.

Tyler Copenhaver-Heath is out to change the world, one person, one small business at a time. A serial entrepreneur with an MBA behind his name and the scientific know-how of a biochemistry undergrad, he has a deep understanding of systems and how things work. With the sale last year of his flagship start-up, APEX Customs, which went from a one-man garage to a multi-million dollar company with forty employees in under ten years, he’s now poised for something greater.

For Copenhaver-Heath, success isn’t about the money. It’s about the transformative change small businesses can bring to the lives of individuals and the communities in which they live and work. An avid believer in personal connections and the value of role models in the lives of at-risk youth, he spends his free time encouraging students to stay in school, find their worth, and know they can be and do anything they desire. It’s his way of returning to his roots, stepping alongside struggling young people as the mentor he longed for but never had.

In his latest start-up, Glaive, Copenhaver-Heath seeks to align his business acumen with his servant’s heart. This year, look to him to harness all of his talents – hard-knock experience, charisma, grit, tenacity, and confidence – to lead and inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs. By investing in people, he’s investing in what he calls collateral impact: a ripple effect of financial stability, job creation, and community development, all brought on by the success of small businesses. His passion is people. His skills are abundant. His success is proven. If he can do it, so can others. And he’s ready to help them achieve their dreams.
